We held an educational event together with CRPT TURON, Uzbekistan Serialization Operator and Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (PHARMEXCIL)!
As you are aware, in early April 2022, the procedure for serialization and the target date for execution of same was approved vide resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan. The target deadline has been further extended and as per the latest target date, from 1st September 2022, and it is now mandatory to serialize medicines to be exported to the Uzbekistan market.
We were all aware that Indian Pharmaceutical manufacturers face various challenges with respect to regulatory compliance in this regard. This led to hurdles in implementing the guidelines and meeting with the target dates. The primary cause for this could be a lack of appropriate information, knowledge, and methodology.
In order to remove such critical roadblocks and to facilitate comfortable and easy exports to this market in the most compliant manner we conducted an Educational Webinar.
At the meeting we discussed the following:
1. All the steps that different types of companies must go through as part of the serialization project.
2. Cross-section of real challenges and highlight problem areas that relate to Indian manufacturers.
3. How to prepare for a serialization project and take into account major risks.
